REVELATION SEVENTEEN
Revelation Chapter Seventeen — The Mystery of Babylon the Great

The Great Whore Seated on Many Waters — Religious System of Nations
CHAPTER 1
THE JUDGMENT OF THE GREAT WHORE
“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.”
— Revelation 17:1
The judgment has begun — not of the world, but of a religious system.
One of the very angels who poured out the seven vials now calls John to see something more.
Not more plagues — but a deeper unveiling: the exposure of a false woman, a counterfeit bride, a religious whore.
This is not the world’s Babylon — this is the Church’s Babylon.
And now, Jesus is being revealed through judgment.

The Great Whore — A Religious Spirit, Not a Woman
This woman is not literal — she is a symbol.
A system. A spirit. A false bride.
She pretends to represent God but is drunk on deception and clothed in corruption.
The Spirit calls her a whore because:
She sells her intimacy to kings and powers
She mingles with the world instead of remaining pure to Christ
She fornicates spiritually — mixing truth with flesh, religion with politics, Spirit with soulish ambition
This is not a mere sinner — this is a religious counterfeit.
Her greatest sin is not rebellion — it is pretending to be the Bride while being joined to another lover.

She Sits on Many Waters — Worldwide Influence
The “many waters” are explained later (v.15) as:
“Peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
This is not a local deception — this is a global system.
Mystery Babylon is:
In pulpits
In politics
In seminaries
In church boards
And in the hearts of those who love form over fire
She is everywhere the Spirit is quenched and tradition takes the throne.

The Kings of the Earth Committed Fornication with Her
The kings represent the rulers of nations, but also leaders of movements and churches.
They enter into spiritual adultery with this woman when they:
Seek favor with the world
Make alliances with political powers to gain control
Preach a gospel that feeds the beast, not the Lamb
They are not ruling with Christ — they are ruling with Babylon.

The Inhabitants of the Earth Are Drunk with Her Wine
The wine of Babylon is:
False doctrine mixed with human wisdom
A gospel of prosperity, control, fear, and escape
A message that intoxicates but never transforms
The people drink her wine and become spiritually drunk —
Unable to discern truth from tradition, Spirit from flesh, Christ from religion.

Jesus Revealed — The Judge of His House
Where is Jesus in this judgment?
He is the one revealing it.
This is not Satan’s judgment — it is the Lamb’s exposure.
He calls His elect:
“Come hither, and I will show you…”
He wants His sons and daughters to see clearly:
What Babylon is
What she has become
And that she must fall before the Bride can rise
He is not just the Lamb who died —
He is the Lamb who judges the whore and calls His elect into purity.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Great whore The false church, religious system pretending to be the Bride
Many waters Global influence among all nations, peoples, and tongues
Fornication with kings Spiritual compromise with worldly power
Wine of fornication Doctrinal intoxication, seductive deception
Angel showing the vision The Spirit of Truth revealing the false for judgment

Final Word:
Judgment begins at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17).
And here it begins — not with the sinners in the street, but the seductress in the sanctuary.
This chapter opens with an invitation:
“Come, and see what I am about to judge.”
It is the Spirit calling us out of confusion,
out of mixture,
out of performance-based religion,
and into the purity of the Lamb.
Let every false lover be exposed.
Let every mask fall.
Let the whore be seen for who she is —
So that the Bride might be revealed in purity and glory.

CHAPTER 2
THE WOMAN RIDING THE BEAST
“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”
— Revelation 17:3
John is taken into the Spirit — not just into the future, but into a deeper spiritual dimension.
And what does he see?
A woman — the great whore — riding a beast.
This is a union of religion and government, spirit and system, false church and world power.
It is the ultimate counterfeit kingdom — and the time has come for her exposure.

The Beast — World Power, Antichrist Government
This beast is scarlet colored — the color of sin, blood, and royalty twisted into counterfeit glory.
It is the same beast seen in earlier chapters:
Rises from the sea (people)
Filled with blasphemous names — religious language without Spirit
Has seven heads and ten horns — full governmental and spiritual structure
This is a system of power — military, economic, political — that opposes Christ while claiming divine right.

The Woman Sits on the Beast — Religion Using Government
This woman — Mystery Babylon — is not merely riding alongside the beast.
She is sitting on it.
This speaks of:
Control and cooperation
Influence without authority
A false church that partners with world systems to maintain power
She rides the beast — but she doesn’t realize it will devour her.

Full of Names of Blasphemy
The beast is covered in blasphemy — not cursing, but claiming God’s name falsely.
It is:
Doctrines that use the name of Jesus but deny His Spirit
Systems that preach Christ but build Babylon
Movements that are outwardly Christian but inwardly antichrist
This is a picture of religion that partners with carnal power,
blaspheming by building a system Jesus never authorized.

Seven Heads and Ten Horns — Global Reach and Authority
Later explained (v.9–13), these symbols show:
Seven heads = seven mountains (earthly kingdoms) and seven kings (spiritual systems)
Ten horns = future rulers who will rule with the beast for a short season
This speaks to the vast scope of Babylon’s reach:
Cultural
Political
Religious
Economic
It touches every mountain of influence — and seeks to control them all.

Jesus Revealed — The One Greater Than the Beast
While the woman appears powerful, and the beast terrifying,
Jesus is being revealed through contrast.
He does not ride the beast —
He rules from the throne.
He does not need political alliance —
He has all authority in heaven and earth.
He is revealing the foolishness of man-made kingdoms,
the fragility of false religion,
and the judgment that will fall upon Babylon.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Woman on the beast False church empowered by world systems
Scarlet beast Sin-stained power, counterfeit kingdom, antichrist governance
Names of blasphemy False religious authority, using God’s name in vain
Seven heads Seven mountains of power and influence
Ten horns World rulers aligned with Babylon in the end times

Final Word:
The picture is vivid.
A woman, dazzling in appearance, rides confidently on a beast.
She appears in control — yet she is being carried toward her own destruction.
God allows this season so that every false alliance may be exposed.
This is the hour of spiritual discernment — to see Babylon for what she is.
And as we do, Christ is revealed — not in mixture, but in purity,
not in alliance with flesh, but in union with His true Bride.

CHAPTER 3
CLOTHED IN PURPLE AND SCARLET, HOLDING A GOLDEN CUP
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.”
— Revelation 17:4
This is the external image of Babylon.
She is arrayed in beauty, dressed in colors that represent power and wealth, yet her substance is deception.
She is not the Bride, yet wears what looks like bridal garments.
She mimics royalty, but her kingdom is built on seduction, not Spirit.
This chapter reveals how Jesus is exposed through contrast — the true Bride stands pure and humble, while the false woman flaunts riches, status, and mixture.

Purple and Scarlet — Religious Royalty and False Glory
In biblical tradition:
Purple symbolizes kingship and royalty
Scarlet speaks of blood, power, and sin
The woman is clothed in royal colors, yet her authority is not from heaven — it’s borrowed from the beast.
She presents herself as:
A queen
A spiritual authority
The voice of God
But her robes are stitched with mixture, man’s ambition, and religious pride.

Decked with Gold, Pearls, and Precious Stones
Gold and precious stones have meaning in Scripture:
They adorned the high priest’s garments (Exodus 28)
They represent purity, glory, and divine nature
But this woman wears them for show, not for sanctification.
She imitates the priesthood, yet her heart is unclean.
Just as Lucifer wore stones in Eden but fell through pride,
so Mystery Babylon is clothed in outward beauty but inwardly full of death.

A Golden Cup — Attractive on the Outside, Full of Abominations
The golden cup represents:
Doctrine presented attractively
Teaching that appears holy but is filled with spiritual poison
A cup that once belonged to the Lord, now filled with mixture
She holds it out like a sacrament,
but it offers confusion, not communion.
Like the Pharisees, her cup is clean on the outside — but inside is dead men’s bones (Matthew 23:25–27).

Abominations and Filthiness — Hidden Within Her Message
What fills her cup?
False gospels based on fear, money, and control
Legalism dressed in grace’s language
Mixture of law and Spirit, flesh and form, tradition and truth
Her wine intoxicates nations.
Her message is widely accepted, but it leads away from Christ, not to Him.
She preaches about Jesus but won’t let Him rule.
She offers emotion over Spirit, ritual over relationship, spectacle over substance.

Jesus Revealed — The True Cup and the Pure Robe
Jesus once held a cup too.
In Gethsemane, He said:
“Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given Me?”
His cup brought life — hers brings death.
His garments were stripped in humility — hers are flaunted in pride.
His bride is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white — she is clothed in purple and scarlet.
Through this woman, Jesus is revealed — not in her, but by contrast.
He is the true High Priest.
The true King.
The true Bridegroom — coming for a virgin Bride, not a harlot in disguise.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Purple and scarlet False religious authority and worldly power
Gold and jewels Appearance of divine glory without inner reality
Golden cup Doctrinal mixture, outward beauty filled with deception
Abominations Hidden lies, false gospels, religious seductions

Final Word:
In this chapter, God exposes the false garments of religion.
He reveals the heart of Babylon — beautiful but corrupt.
This is not a judgment of appearance — but of substance.
The woman appears majestic…
But her majesty is man-made.
Her cup is golden…
But it is filled with death.
The Spirit is calling the elect to discern the difference.
To reject the seductive cup of Babylon and embrace the true drink of the Kingdom.
To see through the scarlet robes and find the spotless Lamb.

CHAPTER 4
THE MYSTERY WRITTEN ON HER FOREHEAD
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
— Revelation 17:5
This name is not hidden — it is written on her forehead, the symbol of the mind, the soul, the conscious identity of who she really is.
This is not her nickname — it is her nature.
Though she appears holy…
Though she claims to be the Bride…
Though she may speak in tongues and build temples and fill pews…
Her forehead tells the truth.
And the Spirit wants us to read what’s written there.

Forehead — The Seat of the Mind and Identity
In Scripture, the forehead is symbolic:
Priests wore holiness to the Lord on their foreheads (Ex. 28:36–38)
The 144,000 have the Father’s name on theirs (Rev. 14:1)
The mark of the beast is also placed on the forehead (Rev. 13:16)
So this woman’s spiritual identity is fully revealed.
There is no more hiding.
Her mind is set — and her name is declared.

MYSTERY — Not Obvious on the Surface
Her first name is “Mystery.”
That means:
She’s not easy to discern with the natural eye
Her works may look like God — but her spirit opposes Christ
Her deception is deep, ancient, and spiritual
She operates within religious circles, not outside them.
She’s not a prostitute in the street — she’s a queen in the sanctuary.

BABYLON THE GREAT — A Religious System, Not a City
This name takes us back to:
Genesis 11: The Tower of Babel — where man united in rebellion to build a name for himself
Daniel’s Babylon: A golden empire with idols, pride, and forced worship
This Babylon is not geographical — it is spiritual.
It is:
A system of confusion and mixture
A place where man tries to reach heaven without God
A religious culture built on human effort, hierarchy, and control
She calls herself great — but she is fallen.

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS — She Births Other Religious Systems
This woman is not alone.
She has daughters — offspring birthed in her spirit.
Every:
Dead denomination
Religious hierarchy
System that exalts man over Spirit
…is one of her harlots.
They all look different…
But they are born of the same root: Babylon.

ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH — Mixture in the Name of God
An abomination is not just sin — it is pollution of what is holy.
This woman:
Preaches Jesus but denies the cross
Celebrates grace but refuses transformation
Offers revival without repentance
Sells spirituality without surrender
Her gospel is profitable, but powerless.
Her abominations defile the earth — because they claim to represent heaven.

Jesus Revealed — The One Who Writes Truth Upon Our Forehead
Jesus is the Lamb who seals His own with the Father’s name.
His Bride doesn’t wear “Mystery Babylon” on her forehead —
She bears His mind, His nature, His truth.
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…” (Philippians 2:5)
He writes His law on hearts, not stones.
He places His identity in our minds, not external robes.
The contrast is clear:
Babylon wears a false name in pride
The Bride receives a true name in humility

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Forehead Mind, nature, spiritual identity
Mystery Hidden deception, religious confusion
Babylon the Great Global system of false religion
Mother of harlots Source of all man-made religious systems
Abominations Spiritual pollution masquerading as holiness

Final Word:
God has written her name for all to see.
Not to shame her, but to call His people out.
“Come out of her, My people…” (Revelation 18:4)
The name Babylon will not remain on your forehead
if you surrender your mind to Christ.
Let every false title fall.
Let every self-made ministry bow.
Let every confused system burn.
Jesus is revealed as the truth-teller, the name-giver, the One who knows what is written on the heart.
He is calling His Bride to bear only His name, and walk in His nature.

CHAPTER 5
DRUNK WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS
“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
— Revelation 17:6
What a staggering revelation.
The woman who pretended to represent God is not only deceived — she is intoxicated with murder.
And not the blood of the wicked.
Not the blood of criminals.
She is drunk with the blood of the saints — the very ones she claimed to walk with.
This is not the world persecuting the Church.
This is religion persecuting the remnant.

Drunkenness — Spiritually Intoxicated with Killing Truth
The word “drunken” here paints a horrific image:
Not just responsible for violence — but delighting in it
Not accidentally persecuting truth — but intoxicated by its death
Completely overcome with a desire to silence true spiritual voices
She doesn’t mourn the deaths of God’s messengers — she celebrates them.

Blood of the Saints and Martyrs — Persecuted by Religion
From Stephen, the first martyr, to modern-day witnesses —
Religious systems have always opposed the Spirit.
Jesus warned:
“They will put you out of the synagogues… whoever kills you will think he offers God service.” (John 16:2)
Babylon claims to speak for God — but she kills His prophets.
This is the same spirit that:
Crucified Jesus
Stoned Stephen
Silenced the prophets
Burned the reformers
Excommunicated the Spirit-filled
She despises the living Word, the anointed message, and the witness of truth.

John Wondered with Great Admiration
Even the apostle John, the beloved disciple, is shocked.
He had walked with Jesus…
He had seen demons cast out…
He had received visions of glory…
But nothing stunned him more than the sight of this religious harlot,
wearing glory but drunk with blood.
This shows how deceptive Babylon is.
Even seasoned apostles can marvel at how closely she imitates truth, while killing the real thing.

Jesus Revealed — The One Who Was Also Killed by Religion
Who else was killed by religion?
Jesus.
It wasn’t Rome who initiated His crucifixion — it was the high priest, the temple leaders, the religious elite.
He was:
Accused by theologians
Condemned by Sanhedrin
Handed over by those who claimed to keep the law
Mystery Babylon continues this tradition.
She doesn’t bow to the Lamb — she crucifies Him again and again through false gospels and control.
But Jesus is not overcome by her.
He rises. He reigns. And He will judge this whore for every drop of innocent blood.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Drunkenness Spiritually intoxicated with silencing the true saints
Blood of the saints Persecution of God’s true messengers
Blood of the martyrs Death of those who witness Jesus with their lives
Wonder and admiration The deceptive allure and shocking revelation of Babylon

Final Word:
This is not the persecution of the world —
This is the persecution of the Word by those who claim to represent Him.
Babylon doesn’t just resist revival — she kills it.
She doesn’t just ignore the prophets — she sheds their blood.
And yet, through this, Jesus is revealed:
As the One who stands with His martyrs
As the One who overcame religious death
As the One who is exposing and judging this harlot once and for all
The elect must be sober in this hour.
Do not drink her wine.
Do not sit at her table.
Come out of her.
The Lamb will vindicate His saints,
and He will reign through a pure Bride,
not a drunken whore.

CHAPTER 6
THE MYSTERY OF THE BEAST SHE RIDES
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition…”
— Revelation 17:8
Now we are shown the mystery of the beast the woman is riding —
and what a mystery it is.
The woman is not the only counterfeit in this vision.
The beast beneath her is a spirit of antichrist, a system that was, is not, and yet is —
full of religious deception, world domination, and false resurrection.
This beast is not just a political empire.
It is a spiritual force that manifests through governments, religions, and movements throughout history.

The Beast That Was, and Is Not, and Yet Is
This is a direct counterfeit of Christ, who is declared in Revelation as:
“Him who is, who was, and who is to come.” (Revelation 1:4)
The beast imitates the eternal nature of Jesus —
pretending to be divine, prophetic, and immortal.
Was — The beastly system existed in empires like Egypt, Babylon, Rome
Is not — It goes underground, hidden from view
Yet is — It re-emerges in new form in the last days
It masquerades as progress, but it is ancient rebellion repackaged.

Ascending from the Bottomless Pit
This beast does not come from heaven.
It ascends from the abyss — the realm of:
Chaos
Darkness
Lawlessness
Fallen spirits
Though it appears in the world as refined, intelligent, and ordered —
it is birthed in hell.
This system brings doctrines, governments, and religions that oppose Christ while pretending to serve the good of man.

Going Into Perdition
The destiny of the beast is sealed — perdition (destruction).
It may rise for a season…
It may appear unstoppable…
But it will be cast down.
Paul warned of this beast:
“The man of sin… the son of perdition… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God.” (2 Thess. 2:3–4)
The end of this system is judgment.

The World Will Wonder
The Scripture says the people whose names are not written in the Book of Life will:
Marvel at the beast
Follow its rise
Admire its deception
This is not just admiration for a man or leader —
it is a fascination with a system that promises peace without repentance, power without purity.
This is why discernment is critical — the elect must not marvel.

Jesus Revealed — The True King, Not a Counterfeit
While the beast mimics Christ,
Jesus reveals the truth.
The beast rises from the pit — Jesus rose from the grave
The beast goes to perdition — Jesus ascended to the throne
The beast deceives nations — Jesus delivers the nations
In this dark and deceptive vision, Jesus shines as the true Son of God,
not rising through rebellion, but through surrender and resurrection.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Beast Antichrist system of false religion and world power
Was, is not, yet is Counterfeit of Christ’s eternal nature, reappearing throughout history
Bottomless pit Origin of demonic deception and lawlessness
Perdition Destined judgment and destruction
Marveling world Humanity deceived by false power and glory

Final Word:
This beast is not coming — it’s already here.
It rises in governments, religious systems, global alliances —
whenever man exalts himself and denies the Lordship of Christ.
But Jesus is not intimidated.
He has already triumphed.
The beast ascends, but the Lamb reigns.
The elect must not be impressed.
They must not marvel.
They must discern — and overcome.

CHAPTER 7
SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS — THE STRUCTURE OF THE BEAST
“And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings… and the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings…”
— Revelation 17:9–12
In this portion, the angel gives John the interpretation of the beast’s head and horn structure —
but it’s not natural understanding that reveals it.
“Here is the mind which has wisdom…”
Only the Spirit of wisdom and revelation can unfold this mystery.
The beast is not just one man, or one empire.
It is a structured system of rule, both spiritual and political — built to mock Christ’s Kingdom.

Seven Heads = Seven Mountains = Seven Kings
The seven heads represent seven mountains — and the mountains represent kings or kingdoms.
In the Bible:
Mountains are symbolic of kingdoms or governments
Kings represent authority and spiritual power
This is the seven-mountain system that controls the world:
Religion
Family
Education
Government
Media
Arts/Entertainment
Business/Economy
The woman rides these mountains —
she influences every pillar of society through false spirituality.

Five Are Fallen, One Is, One Is Yet to Come
John is given a timeline of these kingdoms:
Five are fallen — previous world empires (Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece)
One is — Rome (the kingdom during John’s time)
The other is not yet come — the final antichrist kingdom still to rise
This shows the prophetic scope of the beast —
a system that spans generations, always opposing the Spirit of Christ.

Ten Horns = Ten Kings Who Receive Power Briefly
The ten horns are ten kings who will:
Unite with the beast for a short season
Give their power and authority to the system
Wage war against the Lamb
These ten kings represent:
A confederation of world powers
An end-time alignment of authority
Systems and leaders who will stand against Christ and His saints
But their rule is temporary.
“They shall receive power as kings one hour with the beast.” (v.12)

They Will Make War With the Lamb — and Lose
This beast system, with its heads and horns, gathers its strength to oppose Christ —
but its defeat is assured.
“The Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings.” (v.14)
The Lord is not intimidated by global unity.
He permits it to arise so He may utterly dismantle it in glory.

Jesus Revealed — The King of All Kings
The beast wears crowns, has heads and horns, speaks like a king —
but Jesus is the true Sovereign.
He:
Doesn’t reign by manipulation, but by truth
Doesn’t seduce nations, but delivers them
Doesn’t rise from the pit, but from the tomb
The Lamb is not weak — He is a conquering King, crowned with many crowns (Rev. 19:12).
While the beast builds a fragile kingdom, Jesus is raising up a mountain that shall never be moved (Daniel 2:35).

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Seven heads Seven mountains (systems of worldly authority)
Seven kings Spiritual rulers or empires in prophetic succession
Ten horns Ten kings or powers aligned with the final beast system
Mountains Institutions or kingdoms that shape culture and thought
War with the Lamb Global resistance to Christ and His elect

Final Word:
Do not fear the rise of the beast.
Its heads, horns, and kingdoms are impressive — but they fall before the Lamb.
This is the hour for the elect to walk in wisdom.
To see the beast for what it is: a man-made system powered by darkness.
But Christ’s kingdom is not of this world.
It is a mountain cut without hands, destined to fill the whole earth.
The elect are not riding the beast — they are reigning with Christ.

CHAPTER 8
THESE SHALL MAKE WAR WITH THE LAMB
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
— Revelation 17:14
This single verse thunders with glory.
The beast system, its kings, and all Babylon’s seductive power rise in rebellion…
but the Lamb does not flinch.
He does not gather armies of flesh.
He doesn’t need missiles or legislation.
He overcomes them.
Not by force, but by the power of truth,
the fire of righteousness,
and the authority of the cross.
This is a spiritual war — and the outcome is already declared.

War Against the Lamb — Why?
What kind of system wars against a Lamb?
The Lamb represents meekness, sacrifice, and purity
He is harmless, but victorious
He is gentle, but unyielding in truth
Babylon and the beast war against the Lamb because He exposes them.
His presence is their undoing.
He is everything they cannot be.
So they war not only against Jesus…
but against His nature, His kingdom, and His elect.

But the Lamb Shall Overcome Them
This war is one-sided.
The Lamb doesn’t need to fight back — He simply reveals Himself.
The light displaces the darkness.
The truth destroys the lie.
The kingdom crushes the counterfeit.
He overcame at the cross.
He reigns from the throne.
And He now overcomes in and through His called ones.

Who Is With Him?
“They that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
These are not Sunday Christians.
These are the overcomers.
The remnant Bride.
The firstfruits of a new order.
Let’s break it down:
Called — Drawn by the Spirit, awakened to hear the voice of the Bridegroom
Chosen — Appointed to a deeper walk, marked by grace for Kingdom purpose
Faithful — Tried, tested, and proven; standing even when Babylon roars
These are not spectators.
They ride with the Lamb.
They reign in righteousness.
This is not religion — this is union.

The Real War — Between the Flesh and the Spirit
This war is not natural.
It is not fought in the Middle East or among nations.
It’s a spiritual confrontation between:
The flesh and the Spirit
Mixture and purity
Man’s kingdom and God’s Kingdom
Babylon wars with the Lamb inside of you.
The beast system wars against the Spirit within the elect.
But Christ in you is greater.

Jesus Revealed — Victorious, Not Victim
Jesus is not begging to win.
He is not pacing the heavens, hoping for help.
He is Lord of lords.
He is King of kings.
He reigns now.
He’s not coming to become King —
He’s coming as King to manifest what’s already true in the Spirit.
And He’s not alone.
Those who are with Him ride in the power of resurrection,
bearing His image, speaking His truth, manifesting His love.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Lamb Jesus Christ in meekness, authority, and sacrificial power
War with the Lamb Spiritual resistance to truth, grace, and the reign of Christ
Called Those awakened by the Spirit
Chosen Those appointed for divine purpose
Faithful Those who endure and manifest Christ’s nature

Final Word:
The Lamb will overcome — not someday, but now.
And you, dear saint, were called to overcome with Him.
You are not Babylon’s victim.
You are Zion’s warrior, clothed in white, riding with the Lamb in Spirit and in truth.
The Kingdom is not coming with observation —
it is within you.
Let Babylon rage.
Let the beast rise.
Let the kings unite.
The Lamb has already won.
And those who are with Him… shall reign.

CHAPTER 9
THE WATERS WHERE THE HARLOT SITS
“The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
— Revelation 17:15
The harlot doesn’t rule from a throne in one nation.
She doesn’t dwell in a corner or hide in a cave.
She sits on many waters — and Scripture tells us exactly what those waters are.
Peoples.
Multitudes.
Nations.
Tongues.
This means the spirit of religious Babylon is global.
She has a universal presence, an international influence —
and she deceives across cultures, languages, and boundaries.

Waters = Humanity in Mass
Throughout the Bible, “waters” often symbolize multitudes of people:
“Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas…” (Isaiah 17:12)
“The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest…” (Isaiah 57:20)
The harlot sits not on calm waters, but on restless seas —
symbolizing the turmoil, confusion, and instability of humanity without Christ.
She draws her power from the masses.
Her strength comes from being accepted by the crowd.

Why Does the Harlot Sit on the Waters?
Because her influence is psychological and spiritual.
She:
Controls minds through false doctrine
Captures hearts with sensual religion
Directs systems through fear, tradition, and legalism
She is comfortable on the waters —
because her authority is not in heaven, but in the souls of people.
This is a systematic religion that thrives on emotional sway, cultural adaptation, and spiritual confusion.

She Is Not Just in One Denomination
Let’s be clear — Babylon is not confined to one church, one group, or one building.
She is:
In the mega-church with fog machines
In the cathedral with stained glass
In the rigid sect that claims to be the only way
Anywhere there is:
Mixture
Manipulation
Man-made control
…there she is, riding the waters.

Jesus Revealed — The One Who Walked on the Water
While Babylon sits on the waters,
Jesus walks on them.
“And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.” (Matthew 14:25)
He does not draw His power from the people —
He has power over the people.
He does not manipulate the masses — He liberates them.
Where she rides in confusion,
He walks in peace.

A Coming Separation
The Lamb will not let Babylon rule forever.
There is coming a great shaking.
“The waters will be dried up…”
“The woman will be exposed…”
“Her system will fall…”
Just as the Red Sea collapsed on Pharaoh,
so shall the waters of humanity swallow the harlot —
and the Kingdom will rise.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
Waters Nations, peoples, multitudes, global humanity
The woman sitting False religion reigning through the hearts and minds of people
Sitting on many waters Spiritual control over the global masses
Jesus walking on water Christ’s authority over human fear, instability, and deception

Final Word:
The harlot rides the waves of confusion.
She seduces the nations.
She intoxicates the earth.
But the Lamb stands above it all.
He is not riding the storm — He is commanding it to be still.
Let the waters roar.
Let the nations rage.
The Kingdom of God is a mountain, not a wave.
It is built on the Rock, not floating on the sea.
Come out of her, My people.
Stand with the Lamb — who walks, not sits, on the waters.

CHAPTER 10
THE HARLOT IS JUDGED BY HER OWN BEAST
“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”
— Revelation 17:16
In one of the most shocking twists in Revelation, the very system that carried the woman,
turns on her.
The beast she once rode — full of power, influence, and world dominion —
devours her in fury.
She is stripped, exposed, devoured, and finally burned.
Babylon is judged.
And here is the mystery:
Her judgment comes not by outside force — but by the very beast she trusted.

The Beast Devours Its Rider
The relationship between the woman and the beast was always transactional.
She used the beast to gain power over nations.
The beast used her to deceive and seduce multitudes.
But when the system no longer needs her,
it turns on her with violence.
This is how the spirit of the world works:
It uses religion until it no longer serves its agenda
Then it tears it down to make room for pure tyranny

The Whore is Made Desolate and Naked
Everything that gave her the appearance of glory —
her robes, her cup, her seat on the beast —
is stripped away.
God allows her to be:
Exposed for what she is
Left empty and ruined
Consumed by her own alliances
This is the death of false religion,
and the exposure of spiritual harlotry.

Burned With Fire
Throughout Scripture, fire represents judgment — especially from God.
“For our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29)
Babylon, the religious harlot, is consumed by the very fire she resisted.
She rejected the purifying fire of the Holy Spirit,
so she is consumed by the fire of destruction.
This is not revenge.
This is divine justice.
This is the cleansing of the temple on a cosmic scale.

Jesus Revealed — The One Who Purifies His Bride
While the harlot is judged,
the Bride is being prepared.
Jesus is not coming for a woman clothed in scarlet, full of mixture —
He is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle,
washed, sanctified, and purified.
“She has made herself ready.” (Revelation 19:7)
Christ is not married to Babylon.
He is married to Zion.
To a people made pure by fire, not consumed by it.

Divine Sovereignty in the Judgment
Verse 17 gives us this powerful insight:
“For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will…”
Even the beast and its kings — though they act in rebellion —
fulfill God’s ultimate plan.
He uses the very systems of this world to tear down religious deception,
making way for the rise of His true kingdom.
This is sovereign justice in perfect timing.

Spiritual Symbol Interpretations:
Symbol Meaning
The beast devouring the woman World system turning on false religion it once supported
Naked and desolate Complete exposure and spiritual bankruptcy
Burned with fire Divine judgment and total removal of mixture
Ten horns hating the woman End-time leaders rejecting religious control
God putting it in their hearts Divine sovereignty using worldly powers for His purpose

Final Word:
Babylon will fall.
Not by protest. Not by politics. Not by panic.
But by the fire of God,
by the very systems she relied on,
by the Lamb’s sovereign reign.
The beast will betray her.
The nations will abandon her.
The Spirit will expose her.
And in her place…
a Bride will arise.
Let all who are called, chosen, and faithful —
come out of her,
and be joined unto the Lamb.
