The Bible contains one revelation with one divine Author and one eternal purpose.
Although the Scriptures were written over many centuries through many different writers, they bear one unified testimony: the revelation of Jesus Christ.
A revelation may first capture our attention anywhere in the Scriptures. God may reveal a truth in its seed, its blade, its ear, or its full corn. He may unveil it in a promise, a prophecy, a parable, an apostolic doctrine, or a completed vision in the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Where the revelation first appears is not what establishes the revelation.
The revelation is established when it can be reconciled throughout the whole counsel of God.
Every promise must agree with its fulfillment.
Every shadow must agree with its substance.
Every prophecy must agree with Christ.
Every symbol must agree with the revelation of Jesus Christ.
This book invites the reader to follow every divine thread until the Scriptures speak with one voice. As each revelation is reconciled from Genesis to Revelation, we behold the wisdom of God, the harmony of His Word, and the glory of His Son.
For in the end, every true revelation leads us to one Person…

Before we study a promise, a prophecy, a symbol, a type, or a doctrine, we must establish the foundation upon which every revelation stands.
That foundation is not a denomination.
It is not a theological system.
It is not a favorite doctrine.
The foundation of every true revelation is Jesus Christ.
The Bible is not a collection of unrelated subjects. It is one divine revelation with one Author, one purpose, and one central testimony. From Genesis to Revelation, the Holy Spirit unveils the Son of God. Every promise points toward Him. Every prophecy bears witness to Him. Every shadow finds its substance in Him. Every symbol receives its interpretation in Him.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is not confined to the last book of the Bible. It is the unveiling of Jesus Christ throughout the entire Scriptures.
When God reveals a truth to us, He may reveal it in many different places. He may show us the seed in Genesis. He may reveal the promise through the prophets. He may unveil its fulfillment in Christ through the Gospels. He may explain it through the apostles. He may reveal its consummation in the book of Revelation.
Sometimes the Spirit allows us to see the seed first.
Sometimes He reveals the blade.
Sometimes He reveals the ear.
Sometimes He opens our eyes to the full corn in the ear.
The place where we first discover the revelation does not establish the revelation.
The revelation is established when it can be reconciled throughout the whole counsel of God.
This is the divine pattern of Scripture.
Truth never contradicts itself.
The seed agrees with the harvest.
The promise agrees with the fulfillment.
The shadow agrees with the substance.
The prophets agree with the apostles.
The Gospels agree with the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
When the same truth speaks with one voice from beginning to end, we know we are hearing the mind of God.
For this reason, every revelation must be tested.
Not by tradition.
Not by opinion.
Not by a single verse lifted from its context.
Every revelation must be brought into the light of the whole counsel of God until the Scriptures bear witness together.
Jesus Himself established this pattern. After His resurrection, He began with Moses, continued through all the Prophets, and opened the Scriptures concerning Himself. He did not build truth upon one passage. He revealed Himself throughout the entire testimony of God’s Word.
This shall be the foundation of this book.
We will not build upon isolated verses.
We will follow the divine thread wherever the Spirit first reveals it.
Then we will trace that thread through the Law, the Prophets, the Gospels, the Epistles, and the Revelation of Jesus Christ until the whole counsel of God speaks with one harmonious voice.
For every true revelation begins, continues, and ends in Jesus Christ.
He is the Author.
He is the Foundation.
He is the Revelation.
He is the Fulfillment.
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
The beginning and the ending.
The first and the last.
And in Him, every revelation is reconciled.
Chapter Two
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST: THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD
The Revelation of Jesus Christ Is Revealed Through the Whole Counsel of God
“For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.”

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

The Revelation of Jesus Christ cannot be understood through isolated Scriptures.
The Holy Spirit did not inspire one book to contradict another. He inspired the whole Bible to reveal one eternal purpose in Jesus Christ.
Every revelation must therefore be examined in the light of the whole counsel of God.

Not every revelation is a complete revelation.
A truth is not established because it is impressive.
It is established when it agrees with the whole counsel of God.
If it cannot be reconciled with the revelation of Jesus Christ throughout the Scriptures, it remains incomplete.

The Holy Spirit has given the Church one Book.

The whole counsel of God does not produce confusion.
It produces harmony.
Every revelation that proceeds from God will ultimately reveal Jesus Christ.
Every revelation that reveals Jesus Christ will agree with the whole counsel of God.
This is the divine pattern that will guide every chapter that follows.

THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST: FINDING THE THREAD
The Revelation of Jesus Christ Begins with One Divine Thread
“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Every revelation begins with a thread.
The Holy Spirit may reveal that thread in Genesis, the Prophets, the Gospels, the Epistles, or the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Where the thread first appears is not what establishes the revelation.
The revelation is established when that same thread can be followed throughout the whole counsel of God.
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST MAY BE DISCOVERED AT ANY STAGE OF REVELATION
“First the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”

“For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”
God is free to reveal His truth wherever He chooses.
He may reveal the seed.
He may reveal the blade.
He may reveal the ear.
He may reveal the full corn in the ear.
Our responsibility is not to choose where God begins.
Our responsibility is to reconcile every stage of the revelation until the whole testimony agrees.
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST REVEALS THE SEED AND THE HARVEST
“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made… and to thy seed, which is Christ.”

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God.”

Every harvest has a seed.
Every fulfillment has a promise.
Every completed revelation has an origin.
When the Holy Spirit reveals the harvest, we search for the seed.
When He reveals the seed, we follow it to the harvest.

Every revelation must ultimately answer one question:
Does it reveal Jesus Christ?
If it does not magnify Christ, it has missed its purpose.
If it cannot be reconciled in Christ, it has not reached its fulfillment.
The whole counsel of God speaks with one voice.
The Law points to Christ.
The Prophets proclaim Christ.
The Gospels reveal Christ.
The Apostles explain Christ.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ unveils the glory of Christ.
Every promise.
Every prophecy.
Every symbol.
Every doctrine.
Every revelation.
All find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
Chapter Six
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST: RECONCILING THE SCRIPTURES
The Revelation of Jesus Christ Reconciles the Scriptures with the Scriptures

The Holy Spirit never contradicts Himself.

The beginning explains the ending.
The ending reveals the purpose of the beginning.
Genesis plants the seed.

Every stage agrees with the next.

“He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”

“For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord.”

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ.
A revelation that magnifies men above Christ has missed its purpose.
A revelation that produces division instead of revealing Christ should be carefully examined.
The true revelation of the Spirit always exalts the Son of God.

Truth does not compete with truth.

THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST REVEALS THE MIND OF GOD
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

God does not call us merely to collect biblical information.
He calls us to understand His mind.
As every revelation is reconciled in Christ, we begin to see the unity of God’s eternal purpose.
The mind of Christ recognizes the harmony of the Scriptures because the Author of the Scriptures is one.
THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE FINAL TEST
Every revelation must answer these questions:
Does it reveal Jesus Christ?
Can it be reconciled throughout the whole counsel of God?
Does it agree with the Law, the Prophets, the Gospels, the Apostles, and the Revelation of Jesus Christ?
Does it bear the witness of the Holy Spirit?
If the answer is yes, the revelation stands upon a solid foundation.
If not, the search is not over.

Continue reconciling every witness.
For every true revelation will ultimately speak with one voice.

Until the whole counsel of God speaks with one harmonious voice.
For the Revelation of Jesus Christ is the unveiling of God’s eternal purpose.
The Scriptures testify of Him.

The Spirit reveals Him.

The Head of His Church.

May every reader search the Scriptures with renewed purpose.
May every revelation be tested by the whole counsel of God.
May every truth be established by the witness of the Spirit.
And may Jesus Christ be exalted above every doctrine, every tradition, every system, and every revelation.
