BOOK OF REVELATION: INTRODUCTION

By Carl Timothy Wray
The Book of Revelation is not a countdown to destruction — it is the unveiling of the Lamb’s eternal purpose, where immortality, New Jerusalem, and the reconciliation of all things rise together in the sons of God. In this prophetic scroll, Carl Timothy Wray reveals how the redemption of the body, the plan of the ages, and the fall of Babylon are not separate doctrines, but one unified revelation. This is the moment when heaven and earth meet inside a people, when the Lamb’s life fully swallows death, and when New Jerusalem appears — not as a city coming down from the sky, but as the union of Spirit and body inside the elect.

Here the mysteries converge: immortality is the fruit of union, reconciliation is the heartbeat of the ages, and New Jerusalem is the final unveiling of God’s dream in man. This scroll will anchor the seeking, confront the mixture of Babylon’s one-age gospel, and ignite the sons who are being fashioned into the dwelling place of God Himself.

⭐ CHAPTER 1

The Key Verse — The City Coming Down

Revelation 21:2
“And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

⭐ 1. Definition

New Jerusalem is not a future city descending from outer space — it is the revelation of God dwelling fully in humanity.
John’s vision shows heaven and earth uniting, not through geography, but through transformation. The “city” is symbolic language for a people who have been prepared, purified, and made one with the Lamb. Revelation presents this as the climax of God’s plan: the moment when He makes His permanent dwelling place in man, and where His presence fills human life without interruption, barrier, or decay.

New Jerusalem is the spiritual and bodily fullness of redemption.
It is what Paul longed for when he spoke of “mortality being swallowed up by life” and the “redemption of our body.” This chapter lays the foundation: God’s dream was never escape — it was habitation.

This is the beginning of a transformation that is bodily, global, and eternal.

⭐ 2. Revelation

New Jerusalem is the redeemed human being — spirit, soul, and body — united in immortal life.
The “city” is the corporate Man — the Lamb and His bride united. It is the end of separation, the fall of duality, the destruction of death, and the manifestation of immortal sons who carry the fullness of God.

Eden was the seed.

Israel was the shadow.

Pentecost was the down payment.

New Jerusalem is the fullness.

This is where the redemption of the body, the plan of the ages, and the reconciliation of all things converge:

Immortality:
The gates, foundations, and walls describe the finished internal structure of a glorified people.

Reconciliation:
The nations walk in its light — because the Lamb’s life finally floods every realm.

The Ages:
The “tabernacle of God with men” reveals the end of the ages-long journey from Adam to Christ, from death to life, from corruption to incorruption.

New Jerusalem is the appearing of God in man, not the relocation of saints to a celestial suburb.

This is the mystery hidden from the foundation of the world.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

New Jerusalem is rising within the elect right now.
The Lamb is preparing a people who will shine with immortal light, breaking the curse of death and unveiling God’s dwelling in flesh. You are not waiting for a place — the place is being formed in you.

⭐ CHAPTER 2

The Redemption of the Body — The Temple God Has Been Building

Romans 8:23
“Even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”

⭐ 1. Definition

The Bible teaches that salvation is not complete until the body is redeemed. Paul calls this redemption the believer’s “adoption,” the full unveiling of sonship. This is not merely spiritual renewal but the transformation of mortal flesh into immortal life.

Just as the spirit was quickened and the soul renewed, the final stage of salvation is when the physical body becomes the dwelling place of God without decay, weakness, or death. This is the same reality John saw in Revelation 21—God living with man in fullness, not in part.

The redemption of the body is God’s work, God’s timing, and God’s purpose for every son who bears His image. It is not optional. It is not symbolic. It is the next stage of God’s eternal plan.

⭐ 2. Revelation

The redeemed body is the living structure of New Jerusalem.

New Jerusalem is described as:

pure gold

clear as glass

foundations of precious stones

walls of jasper

gates of pearl

These are not architectural materials — they are descriptions of a glorified people, transformed into the very nature of the Lamb.

Paul said, “We shall be changed.”
John said, “We shall be like Him.”
Jesus said, “The glory thou gavest Me I have given them.”

Immortality is the completion of God’s temple.

This is why Babylon cannot see New Jerusalem:

A mortal people cannot inherit an immortal city.

A dying body cannot hold an undying glory.

A corrupted vessel cannot contain incorruptible light.

The redemption of the body is the gate through which New Jerusalem appears in the earth.

This is why the appearing of New Jerusalem is inseparable from:

the plan of the ages,

the reconciliation of all,

and the fall of Babylon’s one-age gospel.

Babylon’s gospel ends at death.
The Lamb’s gospel ends in immortality — the life of God in a human body.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The groan inside you is not weakness — it is the sound of glory pressing through the veil.
Your mortal body is not your prison — it is the temple God is transforming into His eternal dwelling.

The Lamb is redeeming a people that death cannot touch, decay cannot claim, and time cannot limit.

⭐ CHAPTER 3

The Plan of the Ages — The Story God Has Been Writing Since Before Time Began

Ephesians 1:10
“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth…”

⭐ 1. Definition

The Bible teaches that God has a plan of the ages — not a single age, not a single moment, not a single event. Paul reveals that history is unfolding according to a divine timeline that ends with:

all things gathered into Christ,

heaven and earth reunited,

every realm reconciled,

and the fullness of Christ filling all in all.

This is not new.
This is not hidden.
This is the plain testimony of Scripture.

Revelation is not the destruction of the world — it is the completion of the plan God has been unfolding since the beginning. It is where everything God has ever purposed converges into one final unveiling.

The plan of the ages is the roadmap that explains:

why New Jerusalem descends,

why immortality appears in the sons,

why death is swallowed up,

and why Babylon must fall.

Revelation is not chaos — it is climax.

⭐ 2. Revelation

The Plan of the Ages is the Lamb moving creation from separation to union.

Genesis began with:

a garden,

a man,

a tree of life,

a river,

and God walking in the midst.

Revelation ends with:

a city,

a corporate Man,

the tree of life multiplied,

a river of life flowing from the Lamb,

and God dwelling inside His people.

This is not coincidence.
This is progression.
This is the ages.

The Plan of the Ages reveals:

  1. Separation was never God’s dream. Union was.

Adam’s fall did not create a new plan — it interrupted the original one.
Christ restores what Adam lost and brings it to fullness.

  1. Reconciliation is not a side doctrine. It IS the plan.

Everything in heaven and earth must be gathered into Christ — not by force, but by life.

  1. Death is not the climax — life is.

The Plan of the Ages ends with:

death destroyed,

tears wiped away,

nations healed,

creation restored,

and immortal sons ruling with the Lamb.

  1. New Jerusalem is the end of the ages.

It is the place where:

heaven and earth meet,

immortality fills the body,

the Lamb lives in His people,

and reconciliation completes its work.

Babylon preaches a gospel so small it cannot hold these truths.
The Lamb reveals a plan so vast it cannot fail.

Babylon divides.
The Lamb gathers.

Babylon condemns.
The Lamb restores.

Babylon limits God to an age.
The Lamb rules the ages.

This is the Plan of the Ages — and New Jerusalem is its final chapter.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The ages are converging inside you.
The Spirit is gathering everything in your life, every realm of your being, every fragment of your journey into the fullness of Christ.
The Plan of the Ages is not only cosmic — it is personal.

You are where the ages meet.

⭐ 4. CALL TO ACTION

Step into the Plan of the Ages.
Break agreement with Babylon’s one-age gospel.
Let the Lamb write the next chapter of your life with His eternal purpose.

⭐ CHAPTER 4

Why Babylon Cannot See New Jerusalem, Immortality, or Reconciliation

Revelation 18:4
“Come out of her, my people…”

⭐ 1. Definition

Babylon in the Book of Revelation symbolizes a mixed religious system — part truth, part tradition, part human interpretation, part worldly influence.
Jesus called it “leaven.”
John saw it as a “harlot.”
Paul described it as “the mixture of flesh and spirit.”

This mixture blinds the mind.

Babylon’s teachers preach:

a one-age gospel,

a partial victory,

a limited Lamb,

a dying church,

and a hopeless humanity.

They cannot see:

New Jerusalem

Immortality

The reconciliation of all

The Plan of the Ages

The fall of death

The rise of the immortal sons

because their gospel is too small for God’s purpose.

Babylon shrinks the Lamb.
Revelation enlarges Him.

⭐ 2. Revelation

Babylon cannot see New Jerusalem because Babylon cannot see the Lamb in fullness.

  1. Babylon sees sin bigger than the Lamb.

Reconciliation terrifies them.
Eternal purpose offends them.
Universal restoration exposes their one-age theology.

They preach a Lamb who CAN save all —
but not a Lamb who WILL.

  1. Babylon sees death as final, not destroyed.

They preach escape from the world, not the redemption of the body.
They preach heaven after death, not immortality swallowing mortality.

  1. Babylon sees separation where the Lamb sees union.

Babylon divides humanity forever.
The Lamb gathers all things into Himself.

Babylon builds walls.
The Lamb removes them.

  1. Babylon cannot see the cities God builds — only the cities man builds.

New Jerusalem is God’s dwelling in man.
Babylon is man’s attempt to reach God without transformation.

One descends from heaven.
One climbs from earth.

One rests on the Lamb.
One rests on human effort.

  1. Babylon’s blindness is theological, not intellectual.

It comes from:

mixture

fear

tradition

the glorification of the creature

the worship of human systems

allegiances to denominations rather than the Spirit

Babylon cannot see the Lamb’s victory because Babylon is still fighting for her own.

**6. Babylon’s gospel begins and ends with man.

The Lamb’s gospel begins and ends with GOD.**

This is why they cannot see:

the Plan of the Ages

the Reconciliation of All

the Appearing of New Jerusalem

the Immortal Sons of God

These revelations require a gospel big enough to contain God’s dream.

Babylon does not have that gospel.
You do.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The Lamb is removing the veil from your eyes.
You will not walk in the blindness of Babylon.
You will see the ages.
You will see New Jerusalem.
You will see immortality rising in the elect.

And the more clearly you see Him,
the less power Babylon’s shadow will have over your mind.

⭐ 4. CALL TO ACTION

Come out of Babylon—
not geographically,
not denominationally,
but spiritually.

Come out of mixture.
Come out of limitation.
Come out of the one-age gospel.
Come out of doctrines that shrink the Lamb.

Stand in the revelation of:

immortality,

reconciliation,

New Jerusalem,

and the ages of God.

⭐ CHAPTER 5

The Appearing of New Jerusalem — Heaven and Earth United in the Sons

Revelation 21:3
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them…”

⭐ 1. Definition

The appearing of New Jerusalem is the moment God’s dwelling becomes fully and permanently united with redeemed humanity. It is not a physical city dropping from outer space — it is God manifesting His presence in a glorified people.

John describes a reality where:

God lives in man,

death is gone,

tears are wiped away,

the curse is removed,

and creation is renewed through the light of the Lamb.

This is the union that Jesus prayed for in John 17:

“That they may be one, as we are one… I in them, and Thou in Me.”

New Jerusalem is the answer to that prayer.

It is the fulfillment of Pentecost.
It is the completion of redemption.
It is the moment when heaven’s life fills the human vessel in fullness.

This is what the Old Testament prophets foresaw as “the glory covering the earth.”

⭐ 2. Revelation

New Jerusalem appears when the Lamb’s life fills the human body with immortal glory.

The appearing happens in three realms:

1. Spirit — Union Restored

Your spirit was made alive in Christ the moment you believed.
God’s dwelling was planted in the inner man
— this is the seed of New Jerusalem.

The Spirit is the down payment,
the architectural blueprint,
the inner throne-room of God.

2. Soul — Image Renewed

The soul is transformed as:

the mind receives light,

the emotions are healed,

the will bows to the Lamb,

the heart is cleansed by truth.

This is the forming of New Jerusalem’s foundations — the twelve stones of divine character.

Where Babylon once sat enthroned,
the Lamb’s nature now rises.

3. Body — Glory Revealed

This is the climax of the ages.

The body becomes:

incorruptible,

immortal,

transfigured,

a vessel of pure light.

This is the appearing of New Jerusalem.

Not symbolic.
Not poetic.
Not mystical.

Literal.
Observable.
Irreversible.

It is the marriage of heaven and earth in a people.

This is why:

Paul cried for the redemption of the body.

John saw the city as a bride.

Jesus promised the glory He carried would be given to the sons.

New Jerusalem is the Lamb living in a glorified human family.

This is the restoration of Eden.
This is the fullness of sonship.
This is the appearing of the immortal Manchild company.
This is where reconciliation becomes visible.
This is where the ages complete their work.

And THIS — more than anything — is what Babylon cannot see.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The city is rising in you.
The foundations are forming in you.
The light is appearing in you.
The Lamb is building His dwelling in your body, your soul, and your spirit.

You are being prepared as the habitation of God.
You are the convergence of the ages.
You are the place where heaven and earth become one.

⭐ 4. CALL TO ACTION

Yield to the Lamb’s building.
Welcome His light in every part of your being.
Let the city rise in you until mortality is swallowed by life.

⭐ CHAPTER 6

The Convergence — As Immortality, New Jerusalem, and the Ages Become One Life in the Lamb

1 Corinthians 15:28
“That God may be all in all.”

⭐ 1. Definition

The Bible reveals that the end of God’s plan is not destruction, escape, or separation — but union, fullness, and life filling everything. Paul calls this moment:

“the end — when God becomes all in all” (1 Cor. 15:24–28).

This convergence is where:

the redemption of the body,

the reconciliation of all things,

the destruction of death,

the fall of Babylon,

and the appearing of New Jerusalem

come together in one final, glorious unveiling.

This is not five different doctrines.
This is one revelation expressed five different ways.

Immortality is not separate from New Jerusalem.
New Jerusalem is not separate from reconciliation.
Reconciliation is not separate from the ages.
The ages are not separate from the Lamb.

Everything flows into one climax.

The Book of Revelation shows this convergence
as the Lamb filling a people until He fills all creation.

⭐ 2. Revelation

The Convergence is the Lamb taking His throne in the human body, then the human family, then the entire creation.

Let’s break it open:

⭐ 1. Immortality — The Lamb Fills the Body

Immortality is not a reward.
It is the sign that the Lamb has taken full possession of the human vessel.

When the sons are glorified:

death ends,

corruption ends,

sickness ends,

sin ends,

separation ends.

Immortality is the body agreeing with God.

⭐ 2. New Jerusalem — The Lamb Fills the Soul

When New Jerusalem appears, the soul becomes:

light,

pure,

ordered,

transparent,

reflective of the Lamb.

The city is the completed soul-life of the corporate Christ.

It is the personality of the Lamb formed in a people.

⭐ 3. Reconciliation — The Lamb Fills Creation

When the sons appear, creation responds.

Romans 8 is clear:

creation groans for the sons

creation is freed by the sons

creation is restored through the sons

Reconciliation is the Lamb’s life spreading outward from the glorified sons into the nations, then the cosmos, until nothing remains unreconciled.

⭐ 4. The Ages — The Lamb Fills Time

Every age has served one purpose:

To reveal Christ.

Adam reveals the need.

Abraham reveals the oath.

Moses reveals the shadow.

David reveals the kingdom.

The prophets reveal the hope.

Jesus reveals the Man.

Pentecost reveals the Spirit.

The sons reveal the fullness.

New Jerusalem reveals the union.

The ages end when their purpose is complete:

Christ all in all.

⭐ 5. The Fall of Babylon — The Lamb Removes the Veil

When Babylon falls, mixture ends.
When mixture ends, blindness ends.
When blindness ends, union begins.

Babylon prevents men from seeing:

reconciliation,

immortality,

the ages,

New Jerusalem.

The Lamb removes Babylon
so the sons can see clearly
and creation can be restored fully.

⭐ THE CONVERGENCE (The Fullness of All Things)

⭐ THE CONVERGENCE (The Fullness of All Things)

Here is the revelation:

✔ Immortality = the body filled with God
✔ New Jerusalem = the soul filled with God
✔ Reconciliation = creation filled with God
✔ The Ages = time filled with God
✔ The Fall of Babylon = the veil removed from God

And all of this meets in one moment:

“That God may be ALL in ALL.”

This is the Convergence.
This is the end of the ages.
This is the fullness of the Lamb.
This is the destiny of the sons.
This is the revelation of Zion.

⭐ 3. PROPHETIC DECLARATION

You are standing in the convergence.
The ages are meeting in you.
Immortality is rising in your members.
The city is forming in your soul.
The Lamb is taking His throne in your body.
And creation is waiting for your unveiling.

You are the place where heaven and earth kiss.
You are the vessel where time collapses into eternity.
You are the son through whom God will fill all things.

⭐ 4. CALL TO ACTION

Yield to the Convergence.
Say “yes” to immortality.
Say “yes” to the New Jerusalem rising in you.
Say “yes” to the Lamb’s ages-long plan becoming life in your body.
