The book of Revelation was not given merely to satisfy human curiosity about future events. It was given to reveal Jesus Christ.
Throughout history, countless interpretations have identified Mystery Babylon as a particular nation, political empire, economic system, or religious organization. While many of these interpretations contain valuable observations, they often fail to reconcile the symbols of Revelation with the full counsel of God revealed throughout all of Scripture.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ must always be understood from Genesis to Revelation.
From the opening chapters of Genesis to the closing chapters of Revelation, God consistently reveals two orders. Two men. Two cities. Two kingdoms. Two minds. Two administrations. The first man is earthy; the second Man is heavenly. Babylon stands in contrast to New Jerusalem. Adam stands in contrast to Christ. The flesh stands in contrast to the Spirit.
Within this biblical framework, the seven heads and the ten horns are not merely symbols of outward governments or future world empires. They reveal the complete government and limited power of the Adamic nature as it opposes the life of Christ. Mystery Babylon is therefore more than a city or religious institution. It represents the mixture of flesh and spirit, truth and error, self and God that has confronted God’s people throughout every generation.
Yet this book is not ultimately about Babylon.
It is about Jesus Christ.
God never exposes darkness merely to condemn it. He reveals in order to expose. He exposes in order to bring discernment. Discernment leads to separation. Separation prepares the way for transformation. Transformation leads to manifestation. Manifestation reveals the fullness of Christ.

CHAPTER ONE
THE PURPOSE OF GOD’S MANIFESTED SIGNS

Mixture never remains small.
Error always seeks influence.
The purpose of God is purity.

There are two cups in Revelation.
Babylon holds a golden cup full of mixture.

This separation is not accomplished by human effort.

They come out of her.

CHAPTER FOUR
THE BEAST
The Administration of the First Man
THE BEAST RISES OUT OF THE SEA
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns…”

The beast does not come from heaven.
The beast rises out of the sea.
Throughout the Scriptures, the sea represents the restless nations of humanity.
The beast reveals the government of the first man.
THE WATERS ARE PEOPLES
“The waters which thou sawest… are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
— Revelation 17:15
The sea represents humanity.
The beast is manifested among men.
It is the administration of the earthy man.
It governs through the wisdom of this world.
THE FIRST MAN
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:47
God reveals two administrations.
The administration of Adam.
The administration of Christ.
The beast belongs to the first.
The Kingdom belongs to the second.
THE NATURAL MAN
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him…”
— 1 Corinthians 2:14
The beast represents the natural order.
It cannot receive the things of God.
It governs apart from the mind of Christ.
It trusts the wisdom of man rather than the wisdom of God.
TO BE CARNALLY MINDED
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
— Romans 8:6
The government of the beast is the carnal mind.
Its thoughts produce death.
Its wisdom opposes the Spirit.
Its nature cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.
THE MIND OF THE FLESH IS ENMITY
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”
— Romans 8:7
The beast is not merely something God opposes.
It is the manifestation of a nature that cannot submit itself to God.
The problem is not education.
The problem is nature.
THE BEAST MAKES WAR
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints…”
— Revelation 13:7
The beast always opposes the work of God.
The flesh lusts against the Spirit.
The old man resists the new man.
Adam opposes Christ.
This warfare continues until Christ is fully revealed.
IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

God does not reform the first man.
He creates a new man.
The answer to the beast is not self-improvement.
The answer is a new creation in Christ Jesus.
PUT OFF THE OLD MAN
“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man… And… put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

Throughout the Scriptures, God reveals two men.
The old man.
The new man.
The beast belongs to the old man.
The Kingdom belongs to the new man.
THE LAST ENEMY
“For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.”

Every enemy of Christ must bow before Him.
Every work of the flesh must end.
Every kingdom of the first man must give way to the Kingdom of God.
The reign of Christ is the end of the beast’s dominion.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
The beast is not the central revelation of the book of Revelation.
Jesus Christ is.
The beast reveals the administration of the first man.
Christ reveals the administration of the second Man.
The beast governs through the wisdom of the flesh.
Christ governs through the mind of the Spirit.
The beast belongs to the old creation.
Christ is the Head of the new creation.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ exposes the beast so that God’s people may leave the administration of Adam and walk in the administration of Christ.
The purpose of this revelation is not fear.
The purpose is discernment.
The purpose is deliverance.
The purpose is the fullness of Christ.
CHAPTER FIVE
THE SEVEN HEADS
The Government of the Carnal Mind
THE BEAST HAS SEVEN HEADS
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns…”

“So he carried me away in the spirit… and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”

The seven heads belong to the beast.
The beast cannot rule apart from its heads.
The heads reveal its government.
THE SEVEN HEADS ARE SEVEN MOUNTAINS
“And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”

Throughout the Scriptures, mountains represent kingdoms and governments.
The seven heads reveal the complete government of the beast.
They reveal the rule of the first man.

God immediately directs our attention to the mind.
The battle begins in the mind.
The government begins in the mind.
Every kingdom rules through a mind.

TO BE CARNALLY MINDED

There are only two minds revealed in Scripture.
The carnal mind.
The mind of Christ.
One produces death.
The other produces life and peace.
THE CARNAL MIND
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

The problem is not education.
The problem is government.
The carnal mind cannot submit itself to God.
It belongs to the first man.
It governs everything the beast produces.
LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU

God’s answer is not a better carnal mind.
God’s answer is the mind of Christ.
The Kingdom of God is governed by another mind.

As the mind is renewed…
The government changes.

Christ is manifested.
CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS

The battlefield is the mind.
Every thought must bow.
Every imagination must surrender.
Every stronghold must yield to Christ.
CHRIST MUST REIGN

Christ reigns by establishing His government.
His throne is established in His people.
His Word governs their minds.
His Spirit governs their lives.
His Kingdom replaces every rival government.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
The seven heads reveal the complete government of the first man.
They reveal the rule of the carnal mind.
They reveal every thought, imagination, and wisdom that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ exposes that government.
The Gospel replaces that government.
The Holy Spirit renews that government.
The mind of Christ becomes the government of the Kingdom.
As the seven heads lose their authority…
The Kingdom of God gains dominion.
The purpose of this revelation is not merely to identify the seven heads.
The purpose is to remove their government and establish the mind of Christ until Christ alone reigns.
CHAPTER SIX
THE TEN HORNS
The Limited Power of the Flesh
THE BEAST HAS TEN HORNS
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns…”

— Revelation 17:3
The ten horns belong to the beast.
The ten horns serve the government of Mystery Babylon.
The ten horns reveal delegated power.
The ten horns do not possess everlasting authority.
THE TEN HORNS ARE TEN KINGS
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings… which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”
— Revelation 17:12
The ten horns are ten kings.
Their authority is temporary.
Their dominion is limited.
Their power lasts only “one hour” with the beast.
Every kingdom of Mystery Babylon has an appointed end.
THE TEN HORNS HAVE ONE MIND
“These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”
— Revelation 17:13
The ten horns have one mind.
The beast has one government.
Mystery Babylon has one purpose.
Everything belonging to the first man is united in its opposition to the Kingdom of God.
THEY MAKE WAR WITH THE LAMB
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings…”
— Revelation 17:14
The ten horns oppose the Lamb.
The beast opposes the Lamb.
Mystery Babylon opposes the Lamb.
But the outcome is never in doubt.
The Lamb overcomes every enemy.
THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other.”

The warfare revealed by the ten horns is the conflict between flesh and Spirit.
The first man resists the second Man.
The old creation resists the new creation.
Mystery Babylon resists the Kingdom of God.
THE ARM OF FLESH SHALL FAIL
“With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles.”

The strength of the ten horns is the strength of the flesh.
The power of Mystery Babylon is temporary.
The arm of flesh always fails.
The power of Christ never fails.
THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST SHALL STAND FOREVER

The ten horns reveal the limited power of the beast.
The ten horns reveal the temporary authority of Mystery Babylon.
The ten horns reveal that every kingdom built upon the first man has an appointed end.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ does not magnify the power of the beast.
It magnifies the victory of the Lamb.
The ten horns rise.
The ten horns rule for a season.
The ten horns make war with the Lamb.
But the Lamb overcomes.
The kingdoms of this world give way to the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
The purpose of this revelation is not to produce fear of the ten horns.
The purpose is to reveal the certainty of Christ’s victory, the downfall of Mystery Babylon, and the everlasting reign of the Kingdom of God.

THE HARLOT
Religion Riding the Beast
THE WOMAN SITS UPON THE BEAST
“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”

Mystery Babylon is revealed as a woman.
She sits upon the beast.
She is supported by the government of the beast.
She rides upon the seven heads and the ten horns.
The religion of Mystery Babylon is sustained by the administration of the first man.

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

God gives her name.
Mystery Babylon the Great.
She is called a mystery because she cannot be understood apart from the revelation of Jesus Christ.
She is the mother of harlots because spiritual mixture always produces more mixture.
Error reproduces error.
Religion reproduces religion.
Only Christ produces life.

Mystery Babylon possesses outward beauty.
She appears wealthy.

The appearance is attractive.

The greatest deception is not open rebellion.
The greatest deception is religious mixture.
Mystery Babylon has a form.
The Bride possesses life.
Mystery Babylon imitates.
The Holy Spirit transforms.

Mystery Babylon is more than a false religious system.
Mystery Babylon reveals the mixture of the first man attempting to wear the garments of the second Man.
She rides the beast because religion built upon the flesh always depends upon the government of the first man.
The Bride of Christ does not ride the beast.
The Bride follows the Lamb.
Mystery Babylon is adorned outwardly.
The Bride is transformed inwardly.
Mystery Babylon offers a golden cup filled with mixture.
Christ offers the cup of the New Covenant filled with life.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ exposes Mystery Babylon so that God’s people may discern the difference between outward religion and inward transformation.
The purpose of this revelation is not merely to expose the harlot.
The purpose is to prepare a spotless Bride for the Lamb and to lead God’s people from Mystery Babylon into the fullness of Christ.
CHAPTER EIGHT
THE MYSTERY OF MIXTURE
Truth and Error in Conflict
GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION

Babel produced confusion.
Babylon continues confusion.
The Gospel restores understanding.
The Holy Spirit restores one voice.

The Word does not merely reveal doctrine.
The Word reveals the heart.

The Word reveals whether Christ or the first man is governing within.

Mystery Babylon is the mystery of mixture.

God is preparing a people who are of one mind, one faith, one Spirit, and one Lord.
The purpose of this revelation is not merely to expose Mystery Babylon.
The purpose is to deliver God’s people from Mystery Babylon into the fullness of Christ, where every mixture is removed and Christ alone reigns.
CHAPTER NINE
COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE
God’s Call to Separation
COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

God’s call is directed to His people.
His people are in Mystery Babylon.
His people hear His voice.
His people are called out.
The call of Mystery Babylon is answered by the call of Jesus Christ.

The voice that calls God’s people out of Mystery Babylon is the voice of the Good Shepherd.
His sheep recognize His voice.
They leave the stranger.
They follow the Lamb.

God has always called His people to separation.
Not separation from the world alone.
Separation from spiritual mixture.
Separation from Mystery Babylon.
Separation unto Christ.
BE YE HOLY

God’s call is not merely to leave something.
It is to become something.
The call out of Mystery Babylon is a call into the holiness of Christ.

God never calls His people backward.
He calls them forward.

He calls them into maturity.

Jesus Christ gathers disciples.
Mystery Babylon follows the beast.
The saints follow the Lamb.
The direction of your life reveals the government of your heart.

Truth brings freedom.
Truth breaks deception.
Truth exposes Mystery Babylon.
Truth leads God’s people into liberty.
Jesus Christ is the Truth.

The voice that once cried,
“Come out of her, My people…”
Now cries,
“Come.”
The journey is complete.
God calls His people out of Mystery Babylon.
God brings His people into fellowship with Christ.
The call out becomes the call in.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
The call to come out of Mystery Babylon is one of the great invitations of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
It is not merely a call to leave religious error.
It is a call to leave every form of spiritual mixture.
It is a call to leave the government of the first man.
It is a call to leave the wisdom of the flesh.
It is a call to leave the administration of the beast.
It is a call to follow the Lamb.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ does not simply expose Mystery Babylon.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ delivers God’s people from Mystery Babylon.
The Good Shepherd still speaks.
His sheep still hear His voice.
His Spirit still leads.
His truth still makes free.
His purpose is to bring His people out of Mystery Babylon and into the fullness of Christ, where the Lamb reigns forever.
CHAPTER TEN
THE CROSS
Where the First Man Ends and the Second Man Begins
THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

The cross is the power of God.
The cross is the wisdom of God.
The cross is God’s answer to the first man.
The cross is God’s answer to Mystery Babylon.
OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED
“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed…”

The cross was never merely about forgiveness.
The cross was God’s judgment upon the old man.
The cross declared the end of Adam’s government.

God did not improve the old creation.

The first man belongs to the earth.
The second Man belongs to heaven.
The first man cannot inherit the Kingdom.

The cross redeemed us.
The cross reconciled us.
The cross ended the dominion of sin.
The cross broke the power of condemnation.

The victory of the cross was complete.
The powers of darkness were defeated.
The authority of the beast was judged.

The cross is the dividing line between the first man and the second Man.
The cross is God’s answer to Adam.
The cross is God’s answer to the beast.
The cross is God’s answer to the seven heads.
The cross is God’s answer to the ten horns.
The cross is God’s answer to Mystery Babylon.
Everything that belongs to the first man was judged at the cross.
Everything that belongs to the second Man was revealed through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ does not merely reveal the judgment of Mystery Babylon.
It reveals the triumph of the cross.
From the cross flows the new creation.
From the cross flows reconciliation.
From the cross flows the Kingdom of God.
From the cross flows the fullness of Christ.
The cross marks the end of the old creation and the beginning of God’s eternal purpose in Jesus Christ.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
THE MIND OF CHRIST
Replacing the Government of the First Man
LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”

God does not merely change our behavior.
God changes our mind.
The Kingdom of God is governed by the mind of Christ.
Mystery Babylon is governed by the mind of the first man.
WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

The mind of Christ is the inheritance of every believer.
The Holy Spirit reveals the thoughts of Christ.
The Word of God renews the mind.
The government of Christ replaces the government of the first man.
TO BE CARNALLY MINDED
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

There are only two governments.
The government of the carnal mind.
The government of the mind of Christ.
Mystery Babylon is governed by the carnal mind.
The Kingdom of God is governed by the mind of Christ.
THE CARNAL MIND

The first man cannot govern the Kingdom of God.
The wisdom of Adam cannot produce the life of Christ.
Mystery Babylon always depends upon the wisdom of man.

Christ is manifested.

The new man belongs to Christ.
The old government passes away.
The new government is established.

Everything Mystery Babylon promises through the wisdom of man is fulfilled only in Christ.

The mind of Christ is the government of the Kingdom of God.
The carnal mind is the government of Mystery Babylon.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ exposes the government of the first man.
The Holy Spirit establishes the government of the second Man.
The seven heads give way to the mind of Christ.
The wisdom of Adam gives way to the wisdom of God.
The confusion of Mystery Babylon gives way to the peace of Christ.
The purpose of this revelation is not merely to expose the carnal mind.
The purpose is to establish the mind of Christ until every thought is brought into the obedience of Christ, every government of Mystery Babylon is removed, and Christ alone reigns in His people.
CHAPTER TWELVE
THE HOLY ANOINTING
God Does Not Anoint the Flesh
THE HOLY ANOINTING
“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you…”

The Holy Spirit is God’s anointing.
The Holy Spirit abides in Christ.
The Holy Spirit abides in His people.
The Holy Spirit never anoints the flesh.
THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me…”

The Father anointed His Son.
Jesus Christ is the Anointed One.
Every true anointing flows from Christ.
Every true ministry proceeds from Christ.
The Holy Spirit always glorifies Christ.
GOD GIVETH NOT THE SPIRIT BY MEASURE
“For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.”

The fullness of the Spirit dwells in Jesus Christ.
The anointing is complete in Him.
The Holy Spirit reveals Christ.

THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING

The flesh cannot produce the life of God.
The flesh cannot produce the Kingdom of God.
The flesh cannot produce the anointing.
Mystery Babylon depends upon the strength of the flesh.
The Kingdom of God depends upon the Holy Spirit.
NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

God’s Kingdom is not built through human strength.
God’s purpose is accomplished by His Spirit.
Mystery Babylon trusts the wisdom and power of man.
The Kingdom of God trusts the power of the Holy Spirit.
THE NATURAL MAN
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God…”

The first man cannot receive the things of the Spirit.
The wisdom of Mystery Babylon cannot understand the mind of Christ.
Only the Holy Spirit reveals the things freely given to us by God.
THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH
“So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

God does not improve the flesh.
God does not anoint the flesh.
God crucifies the old man.
God reveals the new man.
The Holy Spirit bears witness to Christ, not Adam.

The distinguishing mark of God’s people is the Spirit of Christ.

The Holy Spirit calls God’s people out of Mystery Babylon.

God does not anoint the first man.
God anoints the new man.
God does not establish the government of Mystery Babylon.
God establishes the Kingdom of His Son.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Jesus Christ, remove every work of Mystery Babylon, prepare the Bride of Christ, and bring God’s people into the fullness of Christ through the power of His abiding anointing.

The Bride of Christ.

Mystery Babylon is the great harlot.
One city passes away.
One city remains forever.
One is built by man.

CHRIST IS THE HEAD

Christ governs His Bride.
The beast governs Mystery Babylon.
Christ is the Head of the Church.
The Bride lives under the government of Christ.
The harlot rides the government of the beast.
ONE SPIRIT
“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

The Bride is one with Christ.
She shares His life.
She shares His Spirit.
She shares His purpose.
Mystery Babylon lives by mixture.
The Bride lives by union with Christ.
THE BRIDEGROOM
“He that hath the bride is the bridegroom…”
— John 3:29
Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom.
The Church is His Bride.
The voice of the Bridegroom calls His people out of Mystery Babylon.
The Bride hears His voice.
The Bride follows the Lamb.
WITHOUT SPOT
“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke… among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”
— Philippians 2:15
God is preparing a spotless people.
A holy people.
A mature people.
A people conformed to the image of His Son.
The Bride reflects the glory of Christ.
THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come…”

The Spirit and the Bride speak with one voice.
The Spirit prepares the Bride.
The Bride reveals Christ.
The Bride invites the nations to the water of life.
This is the final testimony of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
Mystery Babylon reveals the religion of the first man.
The Bride of Christ reveals the life of the second Man.
Mystery Babylon is built upon mixture.
The Bride is built upon Christ.
Mystery Babylon rides the beast.
The Bride follows the Lamb.
Mystery Babylon seeks earthly glory.
The Bride reveals heavenly glory.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ exposes Mystery Babylon so that He may prepare a glorious Bride.
The Word sanctifies the Bride.
The Holy Spirit transforms the Bride.
The Lamb receives the Bride.
The New Jerusalem reveals the Bride.
The purpose of this revelation is not merely the fall of Mystery Babylon.
The purpose is the unveiling of the Bride of Christ, prepared without spot or wrinkle, filled with the life of Christ, and brought into the fullness of God’s eternal purpose.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN
THE NEW JERUSALEM
The City Without Mixture
THE HOLY CITY
“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
— Revelation 21:2
The New Jerusalem is God’s holy city.
The New Jerusalem is prepared by God.
The New Jerusalem is the Bride of Christ.
The New Jerusalem stands in complete contrast to Mystery Babylon.
COME, I WILL SHEW THEE THE BRIDE

THE TABERNACLE OF GOD
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

The purpose of God has always been to dwell with His people.
The New Jerusalem reveals God’s dwelling place.
Mystery Babylon reveals man’s dwelling place.
The New Jerusalem reveals God’s eternal purpose fulfilled.
ALL THINGS ARE MADE NEW
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.”
— Revelation 21:5
The Kingdom of God is a new creation.
The New Jerusalem is new.
The new man is new.
The new heavens are new.
The new earth is new.
Mystery Babylon belongs to the old creation.
The New Jerusalem belongs to the new creation.
THERE SHALL BE NO MORE DEATH
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain…”
— Revelation 21:4
Death belongs to the first man.
Life belongs to the second Man.
Mystery Babylon is the administration of death.
The New Jerusalem is the administration of life.
Christ has swallowed up death in victory.
THE GLORY OF GOD
“Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious…”
— Revelation 21:11
The glory of God fills the New Jerusalem.
The light of Christ fills the New Jerusalem.
The presence of God fills the New Jerusalem.
There is no mixture in the glory of God.
There is only Christ.
THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND THE LAMB
“And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.”
— Revelation 21:22
Mystery Babylon depends upon outward religion.
The New Jerusalem lives in the presence of God.
Christ Himself is the Temple.
The Lamb Himself is the dwelling place.
God and His people are one.
THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT
“And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon… for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”
— Revelation 21:23
The Lamb is the light of the New Jerusalem.
Darkness has passed away.
Confusion has passed away.
Mystery Babylon has passed away.
Christ alone gives light.
THERE SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth… but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

Nothing unclean enters the New Jerusalem.
Nothing false enters the New Jerusalem.
Nothing belonging to Mystery Babylon enters the New Jerusalem.
Every mixture has been removed.
Every work of the first man has passed away.
Christ is all.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
The New Jerusalem is God’s final answer to Mystery Babylon.
Mystery Babylon is the city of confusion.
The New Jerusalem is the city of peace.
Mystery Babylon is built by the first man.
The New Jerusalem comes down from God.
Mystery Babylon is sustained by the beast.
The New Jerusalem is illuminated by the Lamb.
Mystery Babylon passes away.
The New Jerusalem abides forever.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ begins with the revelation of the Son of God and culminates in the revelation of the New Jerusalem, where God’s eternal purpose is fulfilled, His people dwell in His presence, His glory fills all things, and every trace of Mystery Babylon has forever disappeared.
The New Jerusalem is the fullness of God’s Kingdom.
The New Jerusalem is the fullness of God’s people.
The New Jerusalem is the fullness of Jesus Christ.
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST
The Triumph of the Lamb
THE FULLNESS OF HIM
**”And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”**

The eternal purpose of God is the fullness of Christ.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ leads God’s people into the fullness of Christ.
Mystery Babylon gives way to the Kingdom of God.
Christ fills all things.
TILL WE ALL COME
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.”

God is bringing His people into maturity.
God is bringing His people into unity.
God is bringing His people into the fullness of Christ.
The purpose of the Gospel is not merely conversion.
The purpose of the Gospel is conformity to Christ.
CHRIST IN YOU
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

The greatest mystery is not Mystery Babylon.
The greatest mystery is Christ in you.
Christ within is the hope of glory.
Christ within is the answer to Mystery Babylon.
Christ within is the fullness of God’s purpose.
THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL
“And when all things shall be subdued unto him… that God may be all in all.”

This is the conclusion of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
God will be all in all.
Every enemy will be subdued.
Every kingdom opposed to Christ will end.
Every work of Mystery Babylon will pass away.
Christ alone will remain.
THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD
“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

The Kingdom of Christ replaces every lesser kingdom.
The Kingdom of Christ replaces the kingdom of the beast.
The Kingdom of Christ replaces Mystery Babylon.
The Kingdom of Christ shall never end.
DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The fullness of Christ triumphs over death.

The Revelation begins with Jesus Christ.
The Revelation ends with Jesus Christ.
Every symbol points to Jesus Christ.
Every prophecy reveals Jesus Christ.
Every promise is fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
Every mystery finds its answer in Jesus Christ.
THE DIVINE REVELATION
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is the unveiling of God’s eternal purpose.
Mystery Babylon is revealed so that it may be overcome.
The beast is revealed so that its dominion may end.
The seven heads are revealed so that the mind of Christ may reign.
The ten horns are revealed so that their temporary power may give way to the everlasting Kingdom of God.
The harlot is revealed so that the Bride of Christ may be prepared.
The New Jerusalem is revealed as God’s eternal dwelling place.
The fullness of Christ is the end toward which every prophecy moves.
The fullness of Christ is the purpose for which every promise was given.
The fullness of Christ is the inheritance of the saints.
The fullness of Christ is the manifestation of the sons of God.
The fullness of Christ is the revelation of the Kingdom of God.
The fullness of Christ is God’s eternal purpose fulfilled.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ does not end with Mystery Babylon.
It ends with Jesus Christ.
Christ is victorious.
Christ is exalted.
Christ fills all things.
Christ is all in all.
